2013 Chardonnay
This Chardonnay was fermented in new French Oak barrels with partial malolactic fermentation and stirred on the lees for three months. Complex, with just a hint of oak, the wine reveals bright, fruit-forward aromas – melon, lemon, and pear. It delivers notes of spice, sea salt, and minerality with a creamy mouth feel.
Pair with seafood or cream sauces, cheese plates; this Chardonnay would be a good choice on your Holiday table, an excellent choice for Thanksgiving dinner.

2013 Convocation White
A convocation is a meeting of the members of a college or university to observe a particular ceremony, in this case the release of this wonderful white blend. Convocation White is medium-bodied smooth wine with sufficient acidity to achieve balance and harmony. It is pale yellow with green highlights and gives us a fresh, fragrant and zippy introduction to the Academy’s newest white. The primarily hazelnut bouquet adds aromas of exotic fruits and pineapples with just a hint of anise. Flavors abound with buttery tones, apricot, juicy red grapefruit and lemon on a background of smoky oak. This is a truly complex but balanced palate.
Varieties: 35% Roussane, 33% Reisling, 16% Chardonnay, 13% Viognier
Pair: light seafood, chilled hors d’oeuvres, poultry dishes and fruit salad.

2013 Muscat
This new Muscat wine brings a sparkly clear color with floral notes of honeysuckle while hints of orange peel and lychee fruit round out this exquisite bouquet. Add those to peach and honey on the palate and you have a perfect picnic wine. Taste it and you will see it pairing well with blue cheese, spicy foods including both Thai and Indian cuisines, barbeque and when the occasion strikes: even strawberry ice cream!

Our saignée Rosé is blend of Lemberger, Grenache & Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, creating a tempting subtle yet brilliant color. 2013 Convocation Red
A convocation is a meeting of the members of a college or university to observe a particular ceremony, in this case the release of this wonderful red blend. It is deep violet in color. The expressive with red fruit aromas and opens up to flavors of blackberry, figs plums and raisins. It is well balanced with appealing vanilla, sweet spices and even some herbal notes. This wine is distinctive and bold enough to pair with your meats, yet subtle enough to pair with lighter fares too.
Varieties: 50% Carmenère, 15% Malbec, 22% Merlot, 10% Petit Verdot and 3% Cab Franc.
