Our Environmental Philosophy

At the Northwest Wine Academy, we prioritize ecologically sustainable wine production.

All grapes used at the Northwest Wine Academy are sourced locally within Washington State through our growing partners, all of which use modern sustainable growing practices.

We use micro-agglomerated, ecologically sustainable corks and medium/light weight bottles to reduce resource use and greenhouse gas production.

We use sustainable winemaking practices, like minimal water use during the production process, to ensure minimal resource waste.

Our facility was designed by Boxwood Architects with sustainable building practices at the center. The building utilizes recycled redwood bricks to lower carbon footprint, help insulate wine storage rooms and reduce energy costs.
